About the REAL BAD Host Program

Dear Friends,

REAL BAD, now in its 20th year, has become the longest running, most successful event of its kind in San Francisco. Last year alone, $150,000 was donated to two beneficiaries (STOP AIDS Project and LYRIC).

REAL BAD operates through its Circle of Friends ritual: friends inspiring friends to gather in celebration to benefit community. Our Hosts provide the funding required to produce REAL BAD, allowing 100 percent of the ticket proceeds to be donated to various nonprofit organizations. Our Hosts also serve as the primary source for tickets, selling to their personal Circle of Friends, creating REAL BAD’s uniquely familiar, intimate, and playful atmosphere.

This is the second year that Hosts will only be able to sign up online (as we eliminated the paper process). Those who were a Host in the past will be able to sign up during the early bird enrollment July 1 – 7, 2008. From July 8 – 15, the online sign up will be open to the general public. Due to the increased level of interest and high demand for tickets, Host participation will be limited to the first 250 participants, which will likely sell out early again.
